Engineering Professer

Well maybe it's me but sometimes some fan-characters that I make become something grander than where they originated from and everything that made them fan-based no longer exists in them, so I like to consider them free of that title of fan-character ... But I know some of my friends tell me that - no matter how much you change them they'll still be fan-based to a certain extent or another. Is it really true though, is there really no hope? Look I'm not trying to prove a point or anything but it be great to add and not remove from the character roster if that's the case after all .:E.P:.'s world is big, so it needs a lot of characters and it's not that I need them to fill in or I'm too lazy to make original ones - I'd just feel better recycling characters then leaving them to rot never to be used again... Sorry if I sounded ranty, I'm not mad or frustrated, it's just I've been thinking for a while.
